Two Ways to Register

  1. By Phone

    • Please have Visa or MasterCard ready.
    • Indicate program name, session date, participant's name, birth date, address, phone number and email address.
    • If line is busy, please leave a message on our voicemail system and our staff will return your call as promptly as possible.

  2. Walk In

    • Please have method of payment ready. Visa, MasterCard, Cash, Debit or Cheque* or Payment Plans**.
    • Indicate program name, session date, participant's name, birth date, address, phone number and email address.

Note: Registration will not be held without payment. Full payment must accompany registration.

    * Cheques are payable to National Sports Development. A $25 service fee will be charged on all NSF cheques.
    ** Payment plans are available upon request.


Privacy

This information is collected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. It is required to register in the programs and will be used to notify you of other programs and services. Financial information is used to process fees and is retained for verification only.



Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refund Policy including Transfers

Cancellations:

  • All NSD programs are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations.
  • Registrants are entitled to a full refund or may choose to transfer into another program, space permitting.

General Withdrawals & Refunds:

  • Withdrawals more than 14 days prior to program start will receive a full refund.
  • Withdrawals less than 14 days prior to program start, will receive a credit on the client account less a 25% cancellation fee.
  • Withdrawals occurring after program start are not eligible for a refund or credit. Exceptions exist if the withdrawal is due to medical circumstances, death in the family, or out of town relocation.

Medical Withdrawals:

  • Withdrawals for medical reasons are permitted with no penalty prior to program start. A refund or credit will only be made available once a Doctors note has been received. This note must be received within 1 week of notification in all cases.
  • Should the medical withdrawal occur after the program start, a credit will be put onto the clients account. The credit is prorated from the time the client notifies NSD of the withdrawal and provides the Doctors note.

Transfers:

  • All transfers are subject to space availability.
  • Transfers without penalty are permitted up to 14 days prior to program start.
  • Any transfer request less than 14 days prior to program start will be subject to a $10 transfer fee.
  • Should a transfer request result in an increase of program fees, the client will be responsible for paying those fees at the time of the transfer request.
  • Transfers requested after program start date must be approved by the appropriate department.


Participant Risk Acknowledgement

  • As a condition of participation in this program, the participant does so at his/her own risk and neither National Sports Development or its employees, nor its volunteers will be liable for the loss, damage, or injury whatsoever that may occur during any part of his/her participation. The participant or parent/guardian of the participant agrees to pay for any ambulance services required and authorizes the National Sports Development to send participants directly to the hospital by ambulance at their discretion.
  • All participants with a disability, allergy and/or medical condition, which may affect their participation in a program, must inform our staff at time of registration. All participants who have enrolled in a program have received with the receipt a Waiver and Medical Emergency Information Form, which must be completed, signed and returned to our administration office prior to the first class.


Holidays

  • Classes that fall on stat holidays or stat holiday weekends will be cancelled.
