Boxing Programs
Note: There is a free drop-in class every Sunday from 11am-12pm for all registered participants. There is a 20% discount for gym members.Introduction to Boxing - Adult Classes (16+ years)
For those interested in learning a little more about the sport of boxing, NSD's Introduction to Boxing class is the one for you. The course exposes participants to the many exercises that a boxer experiences through their training program, paired with an overall incredible workout. The Intro Class has been designed to focus on foot work, hand positioning, and combinations, through the use of the heavy bag, speed bag, skipping rope, and hand pads to get you in shape.

- You must have Hand Wraps for these classes. They can be purchased at the NSD Pro Shop
- Free Sunday Drop-Ins! Registered boxers can access our weekly Sunday drop-in class from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Intermediate
The Intermediate program is designed as a step-up from the Intro Boxing Class. Emphasis is placed on shadow boxing, bag work, and hand pads, coupled with sparring in the ring. The primary focus of the class is working on body shots, paired with footwork and an emphasis on the finer points of Boxing such as defense, strategy and combinations.
